Moose Jaw, SK - The Moose Jaw Warriors have announced four roster moves heading into the second week of preseason action:
Assigned to SJHL:
Tate Schofer (04) to Yorkton
Schofer had seven goals and 15 points in 96 games over two seasons with the Warriors.
"We want to thank Tate Schofer for his contributions to the Warriors over the past two seasons," Warriors general manager Jason Ripplinger said.
Returned to AAA teams:
Aaron Sawatzky (08)
William Degagne (08)
Carson Deichert (08)
Sawatzky and Degagne each appeared in two preseason games with the Warriors, while Deichert suited up in one.
The Warriors now have 27 players, including three goaltenders, seven defencemen and 17 forwards remaining with the team.
Moose Jaw returns to the ice coming up this weekend when we battle the Brandon Wheat Kings on Friday in Brandon and Saturday at the Moose Jaw Events Centre.
