Wheat Kings Unveil Tail Gate Party Plans for Home Opener
September 12, 2023 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Brandon Wheat Kings News Release
It's that rare time of year when hockey season is in full swing and the weather outside is warm and sunny, so take advantage of it by joining us for our Home Opener Tail Gate Party, presented by C&C Rentals and Recreation!
As we prepare to kick off an exciting 2023-24 season, join us in the Keystone Centre south parking lot to welcome in the new season in style. From 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, you can enjoy outdoor games, face painting, sign making, and more. This event is open to the public. And best of all, we're upping our game on the food.
For only $5, fans will receive a beer or a pop, plus a smoked pulled pork sandwich and a bag of chips.
Once 6:00PM rolls around, we start to move the party indoors. First up is our Hockey Happy Hour, which includes more food and drink specials courtesy the Keystone Centre. Warm-ups will begin at 6:25PM, so get to your seats early and give our boys a big welcome for their first steps on the ice of the regular season.
By 6:50PM, we'll want you to get really loud! That's when we introduce you, one player at a time, to this year's Brandon Wheat Kings squad! Let each player hear your support as they line up and get introduced.
The building will be electric by then, and there will be a buzz in the air just in time for puck drop. At 7:00PM, the new season officially begins as we face the Regina Pats.
