Moose Jaw Warriors News Release
Moose Jaw, SK-The Warriors have challenged their fans to donate blood three times over the course of the 2009/2010 hockey season. The Warriors and Canadian Blood Services kicked off the "Life Saving Hat Trick" initiative today at 1:00 pm.
Warriors Jason Bast, Kevin Smith, Spencer Edwards and Riley Reinbolt were on location as the first blood donors came through the doors. Fans were given special hat trick donation cards at last Wednesday's home game and could also become part of the program simply by signing up at the clinic. Warriors' players will also be visiting with donors and signing autographs during the evening sessions.
Fans that successfully score a hat trick will have a chance to win a Warriors prize package or Rookie of the year honors. With every 1 unit of blood fans donate; they can potentially save up to 3 lives. This year the Warriors have set out to save 1, 125 lives. Help them reach their goal and score your very own hat trick.
