SANTA CRUZ, CA - The Santa Cruz Warriors have acquired Torren Jones from the available player pool, the team announced today.
Jones played in four games for the Warriors earlier this season before being waived on February 21, 2020. Jones averaged 6.5 points and 5.8 rebounds. Jones went undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft and was offered a tryout with the Agua Caliente Clippers. After being waived from the Clippers, Jones played two seasons overseas in Saudi Arabia and Australia.
In corresponding news, Nick Zeisloft has left the team to pursue opportunities abroad. Zeisloft appeared in 32 (16 starts) for the Warriors averaging 8.0 points in 22 minutes.
