MONTREAL - Montreal Impact defender Wandrille Lefèvre has been selected by the Canadian National Team to take part in two CONCACAF fourth round qualification games for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, in Russia.
As part of Group A, Canada will host Honduras on November 13 at BC Place, in Vancouver, before facing El Salvador four days later at Estadio Cuscatlán, in San Salvador. Mexico completes the four-nation group.
Lefèvre, 26, made his debut with the Reds on October 13, playing all 90 minutes in a 1-1 tie against Ghana. This was his first ever call up with the Canadian selection, after becoming a Canadian citizen on July 2.
