Bradley and Altidore Called into United States National Team

Toronto FC midfielder Michael Bradley and forward Jozy Altidore were named to United States Head Coach Jurgen Klinsmann's 23-man roster for a pair of 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. The U.S. will meet Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on Friday, November 13 at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri and Trinidad and Tobago on Tuesday, November 17 at Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.

Bradley, 28, appeared and started in 28 matches, registering five goals and seven assists for Toronto FC this season across MLS league play, playoffs and the Amway Canadian Championship. He was also named to the MLS Team of the Week three times this season, (Week 1, Week 25 and Week 26). Bradley has earned 107 caps for the United States national team and has scored 15 goals for his country. His most recent cap for the U.S. came on October 10, 2015 in the CONCACAF Cup match against Mexico.

Altidore, 26, appeared in 27 matches, registering 14 goals and two assists for Toronto FC this season across MLS league play, playoffs and the Amway Canadian Championship. He was voted Major League Soccer Player of the Week by the North American Soccer Reporters (NASR) for the first week of the 2015 MLS season. In addition, Altidore was named to the MLS Team of the Week for Week 1 and Week 8. He has earned 87 caps for the United States national team and has scored 29 goals for his country. His most recent cap for the U.S. came on October 13, 2015 in a friendly match against Costa Rica.
