Walleye Notes
- Past Week Performance: Toledo finished this past week with a 1-2-0-0 record. The Walleye took down Chicago 2-1 in overtime Tuesday night when defenseman Ben Youds scored at 4:11 into the extra session. Toledo was held without a goal for the third time this season by Cincinnati in a 3-0 loss on Friday night. The week finished with a 7-1 loss at Kalamazoo on Saturday night.
- Packing them in! The Walleye have sold out each of the past two home games. A total of 15,738 fans have seen the last two games (7,538 Tuesday and 8,200 Friday). Toledo has had four sell-outs this season and has sold out the Huntington Center 25 times in two plus seasons. The Walleye are averaging 5,789 per game this season, which is tops among all ECHL teams.
- Overtime Magic! Tuesday night was the first overtime win this season for the Walleye. Toledo went 59:41 without a goal that night until Nick Oslund tied the game at a goal apiece before Youds won it for the Walleye. Toledo has only gone past regulation just three times this year. Toledo is 2-1 in those games.
- Gametime: The Walleye play three games this week and each one is against a different team. Friday night, the Walleye will welcome in the Trenton Titans. Toledo is 1-1-0-0 this season against the Titans. Saturday night, the Greenville Road Warriors will be in Toledo. The two teams have played twice already this year, with Greenville winning both of those. Sunday afternoon, the weekend wraps up with a game against the South Carolina Stingrays. Toledo is 1-1-0-0 against the Stingrays this season.
- Promotions! Friday night is another "Postgame Party with the Players" in the Club Level Lounge presented by Toledo 5. Saturday night is a Boy Scout Sleepover at the Huntington Center and the kids can meet "Diego" from Nick Jr. presented by Buckeye Cablesystem. Sunday afternoon is "Kids Day" with the Walleye and fans can meet Captain America!
