Walleye Roster Changes

(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and head Coach Nick Vitucci announced today that Defenseman Simon Danis-Pepin (See-mohn, DAHN-ee, PEP-en) has been reassigned to Toledo by the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL, and goaltender Carter Hutton has been recalled by the IceHogs. In a separate move, forward Harrison Reed has signed a player tryout agreement with the Lake Erie Monsters of the AHL. Toledo also added goaltender Dan Salley as an emergency backup for tonight's game in Chicago.

Simon has appeared in all three games for the Walleye this year, with no points and seven penalty minutes. Reed, appeared in 38 games last year with Lake Erie, has no points in two appearances with the Walleye. Hutton has started just one game so far for Toledo, a 6-3 loss in Kalamazoo on October 21st.

The Toledo Walleye will return home on Wednesday, November 9th vs. Chicago at the Huntington Center. The game is a special 10:30 in the morning start time for the School Day Celebration. Fans can call (419) 725-WALL or visit www.toledowalleye.com for more information.
