
Wallaye Receive David Phillips from Chicago Wolves

(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and Head Coach Nick Vitucci have announced today that defenseman David Phillips has been assigned to Toledo from the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.
David, the native of Beverly, England, spent some time in Toledo last season when he was assigned to the Walleye while with Rockford. Phillips appeared in 6 games with the Walleye scoring once and collecting an assist. He appeared in 52 games with Rockford last year, collecting 6 assists. David was a member of team Great Britain when they won the 2006 World Junior Championships.
The Toledo Walleye will continue the regular season on Friday, October 29 at 7:00 PM vs. the Cincinnati Cyclones at the Huntington Center.
