Joliet pulled away again in the top of the eighth, as two runs scored on wild pitches, another bases-loaded walk was issued, and Ridge Hoopii-Haslam notched on RBI single, giving the Slammers a 10-4 advantage. With two outs in the bottom of the inning, Donald Glover Jr. Hit an RBI double, then, with the bases loaded, Jake Simpson was hit by a pitch. Joliet added two more runs in the ninth to secure the win.
