Augusta, GA - Nick Liles drew a bases loaded walk in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Augusta GreenJackets their 11th walkoff win of the season and second of this series in a 2-1 victory over the Charleston RiverDogs.

In the home half of the ninth, Eliezer Zambrano singled to open up the frame - his second hit of the night - and with one out, Evan Crawford was hit by a pitch to put men at first and second. Ryan Cavan's grounder to third was bobbled by Rob Lyerly to load the bases for Liles, who drew a four-pitch walk from Francisco Gil (1-3).

Lyerly's RBI single in the first inning - the third hit of the frame - put the RiverDogs up 1-0 early on. It was the third time in the series that Charleston scored at least once in the first inning. Spot starter Wilmin Rodriguez gave the Jackets 3.2 innings in his first start in three years, allowing only the first inning score while scattering five hits.

Charleston starter Brett Marshall was solid for the RiverDogs, allowing only three hits in five scoreless innings. Jairo Heredia came out of the Charleston bullpen and struck out five in two scoreless innings but was touched up in the eighth. Cavan led off the frame with his 11th homer of the year and eighth of the second half to tie the game at one. Prior to Cavan's blast, the GreenJackets had been held to just three hits and Augusta only had multiple baserunners on in an inning twice. Augusta put two more on after the home run, but Heredia struck out Daniel Cook with the go-ahead run at second to end things in the eighth.

Hector Correa finished up a night where three GreenJackets relievers held the RiverDogs scoreless on two hits in 5.1 innings. Correa (4-3) struck out two in a perfect ninth inning to get the victory as the GreenJackets split the four-game set with Charleston.

In addition to the two-hit night, catcher Eliezer Zambrano threw out three would-be basestealers for the GreenJackets - the most of any Augusta catcher in a single-game this season.

The GreenJackets send Chris Heston (3-11, 4.66) to the mound in the opener of a five-game series with Asheville on Friday night. The Tourists will send lefty Tyler Matzek (4-1, 2.93) to oppose. First pitch will come at 7:05 p.m. with the pregame action beginning at 6:50 p.m. on WRDW AM 1630, www.greenjacketsbaseball.com and www.wrdwam.com .
