'Dads Series Finale Rained out on Thursday

HICKORY, NC - Thursday's scheduled series finale between the Hickory Crawdads and the Asheville Tourists at L.P. Frans Stadium has been cancelled due to inclement weather. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader during the series in Asheville later in August.
All tickets to tonight's game can be redeemed at the Crawdads Ticket Office for two future tickets during the remainder of the 2010 season, excluding the August 14 game.
Also, since Washington Redskins lineman Albert Haynesworth didn't even attempt his fitness test today, this evening's scheduled Haynesworth Conditioning Challenge will be rescheduled for after the Crawdads game against the Charleston RiverDogs on Thursday, Aug. 12 at 7 p.m. All fans that complete the challenge in the allotted time will win two free season tickets for the rest of the 2010 season, including potential playoff games. All fans that just attempt the challenge will get a free ticket to a future Crawdads game this season, excluding August 14.
What do you want GM Mark Seaman to guarantee next?
The rain on Thursday night officially completed the sweep of GM Mark Seaman in the Crawdads Guarantee Series. Seaman guaranteed something different at the ballpark each night, and, without fail, the opposite of the guarantee ended up happening each time, wrapping up with the rain out on Guaranteed No Rain Night.
Since the fans came out on top with a free ticket to a future 2010 Crawdads game each time Mark guaranteed something that didn't happen this series, the 'Dads have decided to continue Mark's guarantees for the Sunday, August 15 game against Charleston at 5 p.m.
But, we need your help coming up with Mark's next guarantee. If you have a gurantee idea, email it to crawdad@hickorycrawdads.com, post it to the Crawdads Facebook Fan Page or call the Front Office at (828) 322-3000. Whoever submits the guarantee that Mark goes with will win a FREE Suite Night to a future Crawdads game. Just remember that, given his track record, you might want Mark to guarantee the opposite of what you actually think is going to happen! If the guarantee on Sunday, Aug. 15 falls through again, all fans that day will get a FREE ticket to a future game!
