Wednesday, August 8th - Kids Ball Night in honor of National Kids Day brought to you by American Family Insurance. Tonight the first 500 Kids through the gate will receive a Free Volcanoes Baseball. Thursday, August 9th - Faith and Family Night and $1.00 Thursday's - Meet Tom Allen. Tom was the distribution finance executive of Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ , and co-author of the million-selling A Guide to the Passion, and is executive producer and director of Champions of Faith: Baseball Edition. Tom will throw out the ceremonial first pitch, sign autographs and visit with fans. Select Adult Beverages just $1 in the Stadium's Lava Lodge Sports Pub. Cancer Awareness Weekend
Presented by Bud Pierce and Hematology Oncology, Dr. Chuck Petrunin, Salem Hospital, American Family Insurance and the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes.
This is a weekend to honor and recognize all area Cancer Survivors. If you know a Survivor, invite them to the ballpark this weekend. Cancer Survivor photographs will be displayed during each game on the Stadium's Volcanotron. Email photograph to probasebal@aol.com -- there is no charge.

Saturday, August 11th features a post-game concert by one of the premier Rock and Roll Bands in the Northwest featuring the Greatest Hits from the 50's and 60's, Johnny Limbo and the Lugnuts ! Sunday, August 12th Survivor Celebration and recognition on the field prior to the game. All cancer survivors willl have the opportunity to meet the Volcanoes players* prior to the game and be honored during a special pre-game ceremony (*must arrive by 4:15pm).
