Rio Grande Valley Vipers News Release


The Rio Grande Valley Vipers will be hosting for the first time ever the Mexico City Capitanes for a two-game set starting Saturday, November 20 at Bert Ogden Arena. Los Capitanes enter their first NBA G League season. The game will be streamed through NBAGLeague.com with tip-off set at 7:30PM.

- The Vipers have been able to improve to a 3-0 record and have won their first two road games. RGV has averaged 120.3 points in three games played and have shown that their 12.0 steals average can be a threat to opponents.

Trevelin Queen has been proven to show his skills in the Vipers squad. On Saturday, November 13, he hit the first double-double of the season with 23 points, 10 rebounds. He was able to contribute four assists and three steals.

Mfiondu Kabengele also hit a double-double with 15 points and a season-high and team-high of 17 rebounds.

Anthony Lamb continues to show his capability as he scored a season-high and team-high of 29 points while totaling nine rebounds.
