
Vipers To Broadcast Eight Games In Spanish

MCALLEN, TEXAS - The NBA Development League Rio Grande Valley Vipers announced today that eight regular season home games, starting with Friday's 7:30 p.m. game against the Tulsa 66ers at Dodge Arena, will broadcast in Spanish on La Tremenda 1530 AM.
"Broadcasting one-third of our games in Spanish is a big step in the right direction and really underscores our commitment to the entire Rio Grande Valley. La Tremenda has a strong signal and we are excited to have our games on that station. Between La Tremenda and our English broadcasts on Jack FM, we are offering all of our fans a chance to listen to the games," Vipers President Brian Michael Cooper said.
The broadcast dates are:
Friday, December 4 vs. Tulsa 66ers at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, December 26 vs. Austin Toros at 7:30 p.m.
Friday, January 29 vs. Sioux Falls Skyforce at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, February 6 vs. Reno Bighorns at 7:30 p.m.
Friday, February 26 vs. Springfield Armor at 7:30 p.m.
Friday, March 26 vs. Los Angeles D-Fenders 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, March 27 vs. Los Angeles D-Fenders 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 3 vs. Dakota Wizards at 7:30 p.m.
All games, home and away, can be heard in English on 104.9/95.3 Jack FM or watched online for free through NBA Futurecast.
