Jam Sell Out December
December 1, 2009 - NBA G League (G League)
Bakersfield Jam News Release
(Bakersfield, Calif.) - The Bakersfield Jam, already slated to open the new Jam Events Center in front of a capacity crowd on Thursday night, will now play to a full house for the entire month of December.
"It is always fun to debut a new building, but knowing we will have every seat filled makes it that much more exciting," said Jam co-owner David Higdon. "I know the players will be pumped to play in a sold-out arena."
Bakersfield's home opener - Thursday evening at 7:00pm PT against the Utah Flash - will mark the public's first opportunity to see the brand new Jam Events Center, which was built during the offseason and will also serve as a venue for a wide variety of corporate events.
The month of December will feature four sold-out home games at the Events Center. After Thursday's home opener, the Jam will face Utah again on Saturday night, marking the first weekend action in the new building. Later in the month, the team will host the Idaho Stampede in back-to-back home games on December 18th and 19th.
