
Vipers Hosting College Night

HIDALGO, TEXAS - The NBA D-League Rio Grande Valley Vipers announced today that they will be hosting College Night on Tuesday during their game against the Albuquerque Thunderbirds at Dodge Arena at 7:00 p.m.
All fans in attendance will have the opportunity to win a Play Station 3 by simply bringing in their old phone book, courtesy of AT&T Real Yellow Pages. Fans will also have a chance to be selected to shoot a three-pointer to win a free Whopper Value Meal every week for one year courtesy of Burger King.
College students with proper ID can get tickets for $5 each. For $10, all fans can get a ticket combo, which includes a hot dog, chips and a drink.
Beer will be sold for $1.50 starting when doors open at 6:00 p.m.
"College students make up a large part of our community, so we want to have a night to show our appreciation of them," Vipers President and General Manager Brian Michael Cooper said.
The first 500 fans in attendance will receive a voucher for a free Whopper from Burger King and Vipers/AT&T Real Yellow Pages koozies. The first 1,000 fans will receive rally towels and hand clackers, courtesy of AT&T Real Yellow Pages. New AT&T Real Yellow Pages phone books will also be available.
Additionally, the first 75 children under the age of 12 will receive t- shirts courtesy of Pena Eye Institute.
