WASHINGTON, DC - The Rio Grande Valley Vipers (2-1) defeated Capital City Go-Go (1-3), 111-101, at the Entertainment and Sports Arena on Sunday afternoon. The win gave the Vipers their first road win of the season.
Five Vipers players scored double figures led by Danuel House led the team with season high 33 points including 11 free throws, eight field goals, six 3-pointers, three rebounds, two assists and one steal. Michael Frazier earned a double-double with 16 points, 11 rebounds, seven field goals, two 3-pointers, four assists, two steals and one block in 34 minutes. Rockets assignee Zhou Qi also earned a double-double with 15 points, 11 rebounds, five field goals and three assists. Brandon Sampson scored 17 points and seven field goals.
Go-Go was led by Wizards assignee Chasson Randle with 24 points, eight field goals, six free throws, five rebounds and two blocks in 35 minutes. Tiwian Kendley totaled 17 points, six fields goals, four free throws and four rebounds. Chris Chiozza led Go-Go with seven assists and three steals.
