Victoria Seals Game Rained Out
August 7, 2010 - Golden Baseball League (GBL)
Victoria Seals News Release
Victoria, BC - The Victoria Seals have announced that tonight's game, a scheduled 7:05 p.m. (PT) start time against the Tucson Toros, has been postponed. A build-up of water on the playing surface and no break in the weather forecasted for this evening has forced the teams to hope for better conditions with a double-header matchup tomorrow afternoon.
Games three and four will be played as a seven-inning double-header beginning at the regularly-scheduled 1:35 p.m. (PT) start time on Thrifty Foods Family Sunday tomorrow. The second contest will immediately follow the game three of the series, an anticipated 4:30 p.m. (PT) first pitch.
Tickets for tonight's game will be redeemable for any regular season game in 2010, including tomorrow's rescheduled matches. Please present your original ticket at the Select Your Tickets box office, or at the ticket windows at Royal Athletic Park to receive a ticket for the game of your choice.
Those who have already purchased tickets for tomorrow afternoon's game three of the series also have the opportunity to arrive early and catch both games of the Sunday double-header at no extra cost.
Single game and season tickets for the 2010 campaign are now on sale, available through the Victoria Seals office. Call (250) 220-7777 for more information, or to book your seat today!
