
Veterans and Active Military to Receive Free Entry on November 11

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers, proud AHL affiliate of the New York Islanders, are honored to welcome all veterans and active military personnel to their home game on Sunday, Nov. 11.
Veterans and active military personnel will receive a complementary ticket to the Veteran's Day affair by showing a valid military ID at the Webster Bank Arena Click It or Ticket Box Office, located at 600 Main Street in Bridgeport. The Sound Tigers will face the Charlotte Checkers in a 3 p.m. matinee.
In addition, the Veteran's Day promotional slate will feature an all-new giveaway and tremendous food and beverage specials when doors open at 2 p.m. The first 2,000 fans will receive a set of Sound Tigers trading cards presented by IBEW Local 488, which includes Islanders draft picks and other top prospects from the 2018-19 team. Plus, stop by the Mason's Bar on the upper level concourse and take advantage of 50-cent chicken wings and $5 16 oz. beers (draft or cans), for those 21 and older.
Packed Promotional Lineup: In addition to Sunday, Nov. 11, the Sound Tigers will boast one of their most extensive and wide-ranging promotional schedules ever for the 2018-19 season. The fan-friendly calendar includes the return of popular themes like Hockey and Hops (Nov. 23 and Mar. 17), Military Appreciation (Jan. 12), Star Wars Night (Jan. 19) and Princess Night (Mar. 30). Regional hockey fans will be elated for the addition of Hockey Weekend in Connecticut (Feb. 23-24), while other new headliners include an appearance by Peppa Pig and the PJ Masks (Nov. 4), Wizards and Warlocks Night (Nov. 10), Holiday Gift Weekend (Dec. 15-16) and a revamped Teddy Bear Toss (Nov. 23).
