Moose Jaw, SK: The Moose Jaw Warriors have acquired veteran Defensemen Brett Ward from the Saskatoon Blades in exchange for a 4th round draft pick in the 2008 WHL Bantam Draft. The 6'0, 194lbs Swift Current Native accumulated 4 goals and 17 assists for 21 points last season for the Saskatoon Blades.
"Brett is a steady puck moving defensemen that has the ability to contribute offensively. His experience will be a welcomed addition amongst our young defensive core." Commented Warriors General Manager Chad Lang
