Brandon, Manitoba -- Western Manitoba hockey fans will want to be listening to 880 CKLQ Thursday morning at 9 a.m. as Brandon Wheat Kings' head coach and general manager Kelly McCrimmon will be appearing LIVE on Feedback.
The program, which runs from 9:05 a.m. to 10 a.m. will be hosted by the play-by-play voice of the Western Hockey League club, Bruce Luebke.
Fans will have the opportunity to call in and ask questions to the Wheat Kings' owner, on this the day before the hockey club brings the curtain up on their 2007-2008 regular season at Westman Place against the visiting Saskatoon Blades.
Tickets to Friday's Home Opener are on sale now at the Keystone Centre box office, by calling 726-3555 or by going online at ticketmaster.ca
And speaking of tickets, the hockey club has announced that as of Thursday morning, 2,446 Season Tickets had been sold for the upcoming season. Thats two hundred fewer than last year when the club established a franchise record of more than 2,600 and well short of their off-season goal to sell three thousand.
Wheat Kings' Season Tickets are $250 for adults and $125 for youth (18 and under), which represents the most affordable in Canadian major junior hockey.
