VanLoo Returns to the Rough Riders

Peoria Rough Riders News Release
The Peoria Rough Riders received good news on Wednesday. Head Coach/ Director of Football Operations Chuck Goodwin announced the signing of 2005 Second Team All UIF DL/LB Jason VanLoo.
Jason VanLoo will return to the Peoria Rough Riders for his second season following a stellar rookie campaign. The former Central Missouri State Mule will be looked upon to add leadership and help improve the Rough Riders defense. In just 11 games VanLoo was second on the team in tackles with 78½ (52 solo, 53 assisted) and led the team with 10½ sacks. Following the 2005 season Jason was named to the 2nd Team All UIF.
VanLoo was an invitee to AFL Chicago Rush's training camp and had several tryouts with Canadian Football League teams prior to returning to the Rough Riders.
VanLoo and the Peoria Rough Riders will look to capture their first victory of the season when they take on the Sioux City Bandits this Sunday, April 30 at 3:00 PM.
