The Peoria Rough Riders are heading into their only bye week of the 2006 season in week 2. This week is highlighted by a player appearance at Kingman Primary School in Peoria and a couple days off at the end of the week.
Rough Riders players will by reading to students and families at Kingman Primary School tonight between 6-8 pm as part of Kingman's "Reading Night." Kingman Primary School is located at 3129 NE Madison in Peoria.
The Peoria Rough Riders will next take the field against the Lexington Horsemen. The Horsemen won their 2006 season debut 38-24 over the Ohio Valley Grey Hounds.
