Charity Football Toss Results in Donation to PAL Camp

EVANSVILLE, IN: The Evansville BlueCats are pleased to announce that the first Gus Doerner Charity Football Toss was a glowing success. The football toss raised $1,066 that will be donated to the Fraternal Order of Police PAL Camp. Hundreds of mini footballs were sold by volunteers from the Fraternal Order of Police before the game and during the first half.

Participants tossed the footballs at the various targets on the field at halftime and won gift certificates and t-shirts provided by Gus Doerner Sports.

The next home game will be on Saturday, April 22nd, against the Lexington Horsemen. This game will be sponsored by IMI. The charity for April 22nd will be the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Be sure support the M.D.A. by participating in the charity football toss on April 22nd.

This Sunday the BlueCats will take on the Ohio Valley Greyhounds in Wheeling, West Virginia. Kickoff for Sunday's game is scheduled for 5:30pm Evansville time.
