
ValleyCats to Play Cooperstown Hall of Fame Game

Troy, NY- Every baseball fan looks to the National Baseball Hall of Fame's induction ceremony to commemorate the game's great players. As a prelude to the ceremony, the Tri-City ValleyCats will be traveling to Cooperstown to face off against the Oneonta Tigers. The game between these New York-Penn League rivals will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 24th at Doubleday Field and is free to the public. The ValleyCats (17-8) have consistently led the Stedler Division. In the past two seasons, Tri-City has lost 23 of 32 games to Oneonta. However, this season the ValleyCats have retaliated and gone 4-0 against the Tigers.
