
Utah's Bourne Suspended One Game
November 15, 2007 - ECHL (ECHL) News Release
PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that it has suspended Utah
forward Justin
Bourne for one game as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #134 at
Idaho on Nov. 14.
Bourne was assessed an instigator penalty with nine seconds remaining in
the game.
Rule 47.12 states that any player deemed to be the instigator or aggressor
of fisticuffs during the last five minutes of the game or at anytime during
overtime, shall be automatically suspended from his team's next game.
Bourne will miss Utah's game at Idaho (Nov. 16).
