Urena (W, 1-2) earned his first Southern League win Friday night after firing six innings of shutout ball, allowing four hits while finishing with five strikeouts.
Robert Morey allowed just one hit while striking out two Lookouts in his two scoreless innings of relief, while Tyler Higgins worked a hitless ninth inning in a non-save situation.
Jacksonville got it going early Friday night, with Ryan Fisher ripping a RBI single in the top of the first, and was immediately followed by J.T. Realmuto clearing the bases with a three-run double to put the Suns up 4-0 after the first half inning of play.
Those runs would prove to be more than enough, but Jacksonville added a run apiece in the fourth and sixth innings to complete their scoring.
Garrett Gould (L, 0-3) took the loss for Chattanooga, allowing five runs (four earned) on six hits in five innings of work, while walking a batter and striking out seven.
Hector Nelo allowed an unearned run in his two innings of hitless relief, while Juan Gonzalez worked a scoreless top of the ninth inning for the Lookouts.
The Suns head back home to kick off a ten-game homestand starting Saturday at 6:05 p.m. ET with the opener of a five-game series with the Pensacola Blue Wahoos. Jacksonville will send out the right-hander Anthony DeSclafani (2-1, 3.79) in Saturday's series opener, and he'll be countered by Pensacola righty Carlos Contreras (1-1, 3.75).
