Chattanooga Lookouts News Release

The Chattanooga Lookouts (5-10) could not overcome an early four-run deficit and ended up dropping the final game of the team's five game series against the Jacksonville Suns (6-9), 6-0, in front of 4,685 fans at AT&T Field on Star Wars Night. With one out in the first inning the Suns loaded the bases and scored first on a RBI single by Alfredo Silverio. The team then extended their lead to four on a bases-clearing double by J.T. Realmuto.

After allowing four runs in the first inning, Lookouts' starting pitcher Garrett Gould (L, 0-3) settled down and ended up going five innings and striking out a season-high seven batters.

At the plate the Lookouts offense could not get anything going against Suns' starting pitcher Jose Urena (W, 1-2). Urena only allowed four hits on the evening and struck out five batters. The Suns bullpen took over in the seventh and combined for three innings and only allowed one hit.

Tomorrow, the Lookouts will head down to Jackson, TN to face the Generals for the second time this season. Right-hander Carlos Frias (1-1, 2.89) will take the mound against right-hander Moises Hernandez (0-0, 9.00) at 7:05 EST.
