Former Cincinnati Mighty Ducks goaltender Jean-Sebastien Giguere's stellar play has the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in the thick of Stanley Cup playoff contention. Anaheim has earned points in 14 of its last 17 games (8-3-3-3) and 16 of its last 20 (9-4-4-3). Giguere has posted an 8-5-2 record (three of the losses in overtime) with a 2.05 goals-against average, 926 save percentage and two shutouts in his last 15 appearances. He has started 24 of Anaheim's 29 games this season, including 16 of its last 18. A first-round pick by the Hartford Whalers in 1995, Giguere played in 23 games with Cincinnati in 2000-01, going 12-7-2 with a 2.43 goals-against average and .917 save percentage.
