
Union Fall 5-1 to LA Galaxy

Carson, CA - After a strong first 20 minutes, the Union fell 5-1 to the LA Galaxy in the StubHub Center Saturday Night. Husidic opened the scoring for the Galaxy in the 23rd minute with Juninho, Zardes, Ishazaki and Lletget later adding to the tally. C.J. Sapong scored his fifth goal of the season and only goal for the Union in the 58th minute. The Union now have a recored of 1-6-1 against LA, with the only victory occurring in 2012. With the loss, the Union fall to ninth place in Eastern Conference with 15 points out of 17 games. The Union return to action on Wednesday, June 24 at 7 p.m. ET against the Seattle Sounders in PPL Park.
