
Unemployment Night extended to final 2009 home series

HICKORY, N.C. - After last Monday night's overwhelming results, the Hickory Crawdads, South Atlantic League affiliate of the Texas Rangers, have announced that the Unemployment Night ticket offer will be extended to the final home series of the 2009 regular season at L.P. Frans Stadium, from Tuesday, Sept. 1 to Thursday, Sept. 3 against the Greensboro Grasshoppers.
In an attempt to further provide a brief escape from the stresses of the tough economic climate, the Crawdads are offering four complimentary tickets for any one of the three remaining home games to all fans that present their NCESC debit card or printed online statement at the Crawdads Ticket Office.
In addition to the Unemployment Night ticket offer, the remaining three Crawdads home games this season will still also feature the weekly promotions. Tuesday, Sept. 1 will be Dollar Day and a KRAFT Singles Tuesday Night Tickets Game, all kids in attendance on Wednesday can run the bases after the game, and Thursday is $1 Beverage Night at the ballpark, concluding the Crawdads 2009 home schedule. Gates open at 6 p.m., first pitch is at 7 p.m. all three nights.

Hickory returns to L.P. Frans Stadium for their final home series of the 2009 season from Tuesday, Sept. 1 to Thursday, Sept. 3 against the Greensboro Grasshoppers. The Tuesday, Sept. 1 game is the last Dollar Day of the season -- buy one grandstand ticket and get an additional one for just a buck! Nine other items around the ballpark will also be priced at only $1, including select delicious concessions items and souvenir programs. Then, all kids in attendance on Wednesday, Sept. 2 can run the bases like the pros after the game. The series and home schedule concludes with a $1 Beverage Night on Thursday, Sept. 3, when your favorite beverages cost just a buck at L.P. Frans Stadium!
