SEATTLE, WA (Aug. 30, 2011) - Following tonight's Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup semifinal against two-time defending champions, Seattle Sounders FC (9 p.m. CT, streamed LIVE on FCDallas.com), FC Dallas returns home from its nine-day road trip to face Tigres UANL Saturday night in the second leg of the Rio Grande Plate. That match is set to kick off at 7:30 p.m. CT at Pizza Hut Park.
The first leg of the home-and-away aggregate goal competition finished 2-1 on March 23. FC Dallas stormed back to tie its Rio Grande Plate partners 1-1 in the 53rd minute on a spectacular goal by Andrew Wiedeman, but Tigres stood tall at home, getting a game-winner from Francisco Acuna in the 82nd minute to defeat the MLS side 2-1 in Monterrey, Mexico.
