
Red Bulls Loan Defender Tyler Lassiter to Carolina RailHawks

HARRISON, NJ (August 30, 2011) - The New York Red Bulls announced today that it has loaned defender Tyler Lassiter to the Carolina RailHawks of the North American Soccer League for the remainder of the RailHawks' season.
New York selected Lassiter with the 30th overall pick in the 2011 MLS SuperDraft out of North Carolina State University. Lassiter appeared in two U.S. Open Cup matches for the Red Bulls this season, making his team debut in the Red Bulls' 2-1 victory over FC New York on June 28. Lassiter has not appeared in a MLS match this season. The RailHawks are currently leading the NASL with 51 points off a 16-4-3 record.
