Tyler Shelast Reassigned To Hamilton

DALLAS, TX - The Dallas Stars announced today that forward Tyler Shelast has been reassigned from the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL to the Hamilton Bulldogs.

Shelast, a 23-year-old native of Kelowna, British Columbia played in eight games with the Steelheads earning one goal and one assist along with six penalty minutes. He has also appeared in three games with the Bulldogs this season. Following the completion of his collegiate career last season, the 6-foot-1, 202-pound winger competed in 11 games with the now defunct Iowa Stars of the AHL recording two points (one goal, one assist). During four seasons with the Michigan Tech Huskies, Shelast registered 87 points (51 goals, 36 assists) in 151 games from 2004-2008.

The Hamilton Bulldogs battle the San Antonio Rampage tonight at 8:00 p.m. EST at AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.
