
Bulldogs Stop Rampage With 5-3 Win

San Antonio, TX - The Hamilton Bulldogs defeated the San Antonio Rampage 5-3 to increase their winning streak to three games. Ryan White recorded two goals while Max Pacioretty notched the game-winning goal in the third period.
White opened the scoring 32 seconds into the game. White and Matt D'Agostini skated in on a 2-on-1 where D'Agostini sent a pass to White who blasted a one-time shot past San Antonio starting goaltender Al Montoya.
White added his second goal of the game at 4:13 of the opening frame. White picked up the puck and snapped a shot that beat Montoya high. Yanick Lehoux also earned an assist on the play.
The Rampage scored a power play marker to cut the Bulldogs lead to one at 9:53 of the first stanza. Sean Sullivan picked up a loose rebound before banging it past Hamilton starting goaltender Marc Denis.
Matt D'Agostini added his team-leading 14th goal of the season at 19:48 of the first period. D'Agostini received the puck from White while positioned at the top of right face-off circle. D'Agostini rifled a shot that went over Montoya's glove, off the cross bar and into the back of the net. White and Lehoux each earned assists on the play for their third points of the night each.
Josh Tordjman replaced Al Montoya to start the second period.
San Antonio made the game 3-2 at 2:13 of the second stanza. Brett MacLean took a sharp angle shot that hit Denis and trickled over the goal line. Jonas Ahnelov and Derek Nesbitt earned assists on the goal.
The Rampage knotted the game up while on the power play at 1:16 of the final frame. MacLean fed a cross-crease pass to Nesbitt, who one-timed the puck past Denis.
Hamilton regained its lead at 12:26 of the final frame. Shawn Belle collected the puck at the point before blasting a shot towards the net. Pacioretty tipped the puck through the legs of Tordjman to give the Bulldogs a 4-3 lead. The goal snapped an 11-game goal drought for Pacioretty.
The 'Dogs sealed the win on a goal by Mike Glumac at 18:15 of the third stanza. Pacioretty sent a pass to Ben Maxwell, who fed a pass over to Glumac. Glumac finished the tic-tac-toe passing play by blasting a shot past Tordjman to give Hamilton a 5-3 lead.
The Bulldogs travel to Binghamton to battle the Senators on Saturday, November 29th at 7:05 p.m. before heading to Montreal on Sunday, November 30th to host the Senators at the Bell Centre for a 5:00 p.m. match-up. 2008-2009 Hamilton Bulldogs single-game and season tickets are now available!
