Canucks recall Alexandre Bolduc

The Vancouver Canucks, the NHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose, announced today they have recalled forward Alexandre Bolduc from the Moose.

Bolduc, 23, has appeared in 12 games so far this season with Manitoba. In that span, he has collected eight points (2-6-8), including a shorthanded goal (Nov. 21/08 vs. San Antonio) and a game-winning goal (Nov. 14/08 vs. Toronto). The Montreal, PQ native has played in 143 games with the Moose where he's scored 64 points (27-37-64) and 183 penalty minutes. He was named the winner of the team's Unsung Hero Award in 2007-08, This is his first-ever recall to the National Hockey League.

He was initially drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the fourth round, 127th overall, in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
