Manitoba Moose News Release

The Manitoba Moose have teamed up with NAPA Auto Parts to give fans attending Saturday night's game against the Iowa Chops the opportunity to get a hands-on look at the world of sports cars, by hosting their first ever NASCAR Night.

Beginning at 6:30 pm, the Official NASCAR NAPA Show car driven by Michael Waltrip, a two time Daytona 500 Champion, will be parked and on display on the MTS Centre concourse throughout the game.

The Moose promotions crew will be on hand to give away 8 x 10 NASCAR Hero Cards, free NASCAR merchandise and to take photos of fans and the car for only $2.00 each. All proceeds from the photos will go towards the Yearling Foundation, the charitable arm of the Manitoba Moose.

Red River Co-op Speedway will also display a sprint car on the concourse and will give away two sets of season tickets to a pair of lucky Moose fans.

The NASCAR theme will continue throughout the night with features and trivia throughout the game. Limited edition and special items including NASCAR ice-cream will be sold throughout the evening.

To get your tickets for Friday or Saturday night's game, please call Ticketmaster at 780-3333 or visit www.moosehockey.com.
