
Tycoons sweep Arkansas teams, take top spot in the division

Dallas, TX - The Texas Tycoons faced the second Arkansas team in two nights, this time out versus the Kareem Reid (5'10''-G-75, agency: Baseline Sports, college: Arkansas) led Arkansas RiverCatz.
For the RiverCatz, Reid was in top form connecting on 13 of 22 attempts from the field and another 8 of 10 from the foul line for 34 points on the night. Dwight Stewart (6'8''-F/C-71, agency: Duran International, college: Arkansas) had 21 points and 7 rebounds while RiverCatz forward John Grice (6'7''-F/C-79, agency: Duran International, college: Memphis) had 16 points and 10 rebounds.
The Texas Tycoons again had another terrific shooting night connecting on 22 of 40 three point attempts. Chris Williams (6'8''-F, college: Tarleton St.) had a huge performance with 29 points on 11-14 shooting and 3 of 3 from beyond the arc. Josh Gonner (6'2''-G-82, college: S.Carolina) came up big as well with 27 points, Jerome Rogers (5'10''-G-81, college: N.Texas) had 23, Donnie Beacham (6'5''-F-81, college: Texas Arlington) had another double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds, and Brandon Lee (6'3''-G, college: Tarleton St.) had 13.
In the end the Tycoons made the plays down the stretch to come out with another key divisional victory sweeping both Arkansas teams. Final score in Dallas; Texas Tycoons 127, Arkansas RiverCatz 124. With the win, and current tie-breaker with the Arkansas Aeros, the Texas Tycoons are now in first place in the division at 4-1.
The Tycoons now prepare to avenge their only loss on the season, an opening night set back to the hands of the Monterrey Veneno. The Tycoons will host the Veneno Saturday night, November 18th.
