Arkansas Diamonds News Release
Aspiring young football players can find out what it's like to play arena football by taking part in the Alltel Community Football Camp. Coach Gary Anderson, Director of Marketing Ron Calcagni, and Twisters football players will help teach young players different aspects of both eleven man football and arena football.
The clinic is free and will be the morning of June 25th, from 9am to 11am. Youngsters ages 8 to 18 are eligible to participate. Each camper will receive a t-shirt and ticket to that night's Arkansas Twisters game against Quad City.
The Alltel Community football camp gives young athletes the opportunity to learn and improve their skills and technique. All participants will receive one on one instruction, as well as opportunities for videotaped evaluations. Campers will also experience the feel of playing on the same artificial turf and confining walls that arena players compete on every game.
The camp is free for all interested, and sign up sheets can be obtained at the Twister's office on the corner of Broadway and Broadway in North Little Rock or by calling 975-KICK.
