
Laredo Versus Bossier-Shreveport Part Deux, Hockey Rivalry Carries Over To Football

LAREDO, Texas â The cities of Laredo, Texas and Bossier-City and Shreveport, Louisiana collide for the first time since the towns met to decide the Central Hockey League President's Cup title this past April. Now the rival cities meet on the gridiron as the Law and the Battle Wings play. The Law hosts Bossier-Shreveport this Friday night at the LEC. Kids can buy a ticket and Dad gets in free. The cities developed a healthy rivalry during the hockey regular season and that carried over into the playoffs as the Bucks defeated the Mudbugs in a dramatic seven game series to decide the CHL championship.
While the Law and Battle Wings have never met, the intense rivalry from the ice will carry over to the football turf this Friday night.
Bucks forward Brent Cullaton and the President's Cup will be present at the game. The coin toss will be handled by a special guest.
UGLIEST TIE CONTEST
The Law is hosting an âUgliest Tie' contest this Friday night with the selected winners competing for a variety of fabulous prizes. Anyone is eligible, including woman wearing an ugly tie. You must wear your ugly tie to the game and inside the building. Several ugly tie winners will be selected and will participate in an on field contest at halftime as they compete for a variety of fabulous prizes including Spurs versus Rockets exhibition game tickets and a mystery prize that is perfect for Father's Day.

The Law is offering four tickets for forty dollars for every remaining home game.
