Bring a Toy and Save!: The Oilers have teamed up with Tulsa's Channel 8 and the United States Marine Corp for a toy drive benefitting Toys for Tots at this Friday's game at the BOK Center. Make the holiday season special for some of the underprivileged kids in Green Country by bringing a new, unwrapped to the BOK Center when the Oilers face off against the Sundogs on December 6 at 7:35 p.m. Each person who donates will receive a discounted ticket to the game and a voucher from Jack In The Box for two free tacos.

Floor Hockey Tradition Continues: This Wednesday, the Oilers will trade their skates for shoes and compete in the third annual Childers Middle School floor hockey game. Oilers players visited Childers last month to help inspire the students to donate to the Broken Arrow holiday food drive. The two classrooms with the most donations will compete with the Oilers on Wednesday in hopes of taking home the coveted "Frozen Turkey Cup."

Week In Review: The Oilers went 1-2-0 on a three-game road trip last week and began with a 4-3 shootout victory in St. Charles on Wednesday night. Michel Beausoleil netted the game-tying goal with seven minutes left in regulation and Tulsa outscored St. Charles 3-1 in a four-round shootout. The Oilers three-game win streak was snapped on Friday in a 4-3 setback in Missouri. The Mavericks struck three times in the first 9:41 of the first period and Tulsa's comeback effort fell just short. In Moline, Illinois on Saturday, the Oilers surrendered seven unanswered goals in the second period and were routed 9-3 by Quad City.

Rest Needed: The Oilers played 16 games in the 30 days of November and have played more games (21) than any other team in the CHL. Tulsa went 10-6-0 in November, its highest win total in a single month since recording 13 victories in November of 2002. Despite dropping back-to-back games for the first time since November 1 and 2, Tulsa has still won 10 of its last 14 games. The Oilers are in sole possession of fifth place in the CHL standings, one point behind fourth-place Denver and one point ahead of sixth-place Brampton.

Robinson Recognized: Center Todd Robinson is the CHL's Second Star of the Month for November. Players are awarded five points for a first star of the game selection, three points for second star, and one point for third star. Robinson, who finished the month with 15 star points, led the league in scoring in November with 25 points (6 goals, 19 assists) and is tied for the CHL scoring lead with 30 points on the season. The British Columbia native leads Tulsa with seven multiple-point games this season and is tops on the team in assists, points, and power play points. Arizona's Jason Morgan was named First Star of the Month while Konrad Reeder of Rapid City took home Third Star honors.

Duck Destruction: In the 9-3 loss to the Mallards on Saturday, the Oilers set new season-highs for goals allowed in a game and goals allowed in a single period. Quad City lit the lamp seven times in the span of 16:28 in the second period. It is the Oilers most lopsided defeat since opening weekend of last season when they dropped an 8-2 contest in Wichita. Nine goals is the most the Oilers have surrendered in a game since New Year's Eve of 2010 in a 10-1 loss at Allen.

Streaks Sustained and Snapped: Forward Ben Gordon is on a six-game point streak and has posted 13 points (5 goals, 8 assists) in his last six outings. The 28-year old had a six-game point streak earlier this season and ranks second on the squad with 25 points. Despite having his seven-game goal streak come to an end in Missouri on Friday, right-wing Michel Beausoleil is still tied for the team lead with 13 goals and moved in sole possession of fifth place on the Oilers all-time list of games played with 292.

Road Redemption: Last season, the Oilers were able to win only eight games on the road. Through 11 road games this season, Tulsa already has five victories and has earned points in seven contests. In 2012-13, the Oilers didn't record their fifth road win until January 18.

300 Club: Defenseman Craig Cescon appeared in his 300th professional game on Saturday in Quad City. Over a seven-year career, Cescon has played for seven teams in four leagues and recorded 43 points and 833 penalty minutes.

Taking Over The Top Ten: Tulsa has four players in the top ten in the league in scoring, more than any other team in the CHL. Todd Robinson is tied with Denver's Garrett Bembridge for the league lead with 30 points while Ben Gordon is tied for fourth with 25 points. Rookie forward Adam Pleskach ranks ninth with 22 points and Michel Beausoleil holds down the tenth spot with 20 points.

Special Teams: With a 17-percent success rate the Oilers have the league's fifth-best power play. However, Tulsa has allowed a CHL-worst eight short-handed goals and has the tenth ranked penalty kill in the league at just 77-percent.

Roster Moves: Defenseman Eric Tallent was placed on the 7-day IR after suffering an upper-body injury in Missouri on Friday...Defenseman Ryan Barlock was activated off the IR prior to Saturday's game in Quad City...Kyle Bochek served a one-game suspension by sitting out Saturday's game in Quad City and will return to the Oilers lineup on Friday against Arizona...Forward Brandon Coccimiglio has been placed on team suspension...Goaltender Ross MacKinnon has been waived.
