This Week's Games

Friday, December 6 vs. Denver Cutthroats (10-6-3)

The Chill faces the Cutthroats, an affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, for the first time. Water bottles will be given away to the first 1,000 fans, courtesy of First to the Finish, and the Lindenwood Lions Shotgun and roller hockey teams will be honored. The Chill will be offering a Pepsi Family 4-Pack special... four platinum tickets, four hotdogs, for chips, and four sodas for $60!

Saturday, December 7 vs. Denver Cutthroats (10-6-3)

Prior to taking on Denver for the second-straight night the Chill will be hosting the Missouri College Hockey Showdown at 4:00 when the University of Missouri and St. Louis University hockey programs square off. One ticket gets you two games that night and the Chill will be offering a Pepsi Family 4-Pack special... four platinum tickets, four hotdogs, for chips, and four sodas for $60!

Wednesday, November 27 vs. Tulsa Oilers (10-9-2)

Lost 4-3 in shootout: Chill held a 3-2 lead into the third period on the back of two-point games from Jordan Fox, Steve Makway, and Martin Hlinka but Tulsa tied the game midway through the final frame to force overtime and took the extra point in the shootout.

Friday, November 29 @ Quad City Mallards (7-3-4)

Lost 4-3: Steve Makway blasted in his second goal of the game and sixth of the season with under three minutes left to cut the deficit to one goal but the Mallards withstood a late flurry to hang on to a 4-3 win.

Saturday, November 30 vs. Brampton Beast (10-8-1)

Lost 4-3 in shootout: The Chill scored three goals in the final three minutes of the second period to take control of the game 3-1 but the Beast scored two in the final five minutes of the third to force overtime, then tied the shootout on their fifth shooter and picked up the extra point in the sixth round.

Go Shorty: captain Jordan Fox is tied for the league lead with two short-handed goals and the Chill are the only team in the CHL that have yet to allow a short-handed goal...

Moose Season: goaltender Robby Moss ranks 7th in the CHL with a 2.86 GAA, 8th with .907 SV% and has also registered the most saves in a single period this season with 22...

The Ice Box: The Chill leads the league, averaging 25.82 PIMs per game with Greg Brown, Tyler Barr, and Anthony Pisano sitting 2-3-4 in the CHL in PIMs with 48, 46, and 43 respectively...

Return of the Mak: Steve Makway leads the league among defensemen with six goals...

Special Teams: St. Charles has climbed to 6th in the league on the power play (16.7%) with most of the struggles coming on home ice (12.5% ranks 8th). The Chill have been good on the road with the man-advantage, scoring 22.2% of their chances (7-for-36)... The penalty kill is been solid all season, ranking 4th in the CHL (83.3%) overall while ranking 2nd in the league at home (84.3%)...

Frozen Period: Chill has scored just 10 first-period goals and is being outscored in the opening frame 18-10, last in the CHL...

Rookie Watch: Phil Bushbacher added his fourth goal and now has six points in 11 games this season, ranking 14th in the CHL...

Ice Packs: Sean Muncy remains on 30-day IR with an upper body injury; David Strathman remains on the 14-day IR while battling a lower body injury; Greg Brown still dealing with an upper body injury and is eligible to return from the 7-day IR...

Roster moves last week : Sean Muncy (F) moved from 14-day to 30-day IR; Tony DeHart (D) placed on team suspension; Nielsson Arcibal (D) activated from IR; Brock Wilson (D) signed; Karl Linden (D) acquired in trade from Wichita; Nielsson Arcibal (D) waived; Karl Linden (D) signed; Brock Wilson (D) waived...
