Tulsa, Okla. - Tulsa Oilers Football, proud member of the IFL, announced Thursday the signing of quarterback Joshua Shim.
Shim, joins the Oilers roster, having attended the Frisco Fighters' training camp prior to the season start. The newly acquired quarterback played his college football most recently at the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada.
In 2022, the former Lancer helped lead his team to their first playoff berth since 2014.
The 6'1, 210 lbs. quarterback also played at St. Mary's University prior to his time in Windsor, putting up 1,430 yards with eight touchdowns in seven games in the 2019-20 season.
The Oilers will continue their inaugural season on the road, on April 8, against the Duke City Gladiators. Tulsa will play its first home game in franchise history at the BOK Center, on April 15 against the Quad City Steamwheelers.
