
Oilers Add Two Utility Players

Tulsa, Okla. - Tulsa Oilers Football, proud member of the IFL, announced Thursday the signings of running back/wide receiver Edward Vander and wide receiver/defensive back Alexis Rosario.
Vander, arrives in Tulsa, having been released by the Vegas Knight Hawks on March 16, before putting pen to paper with the Oilers.
The former Knight Hawk played with the Bismarck Bucks last season for 12 games, recording 139 yards on the ground, averaging 3.7 yards per carry. The 6'1, 215 lbs. offensive piece also put up 38 receiving yards, with two all-purpose touchdowns. The new Oiler has not made his 2023 debut in a lineup and will anticipate doing so with Tulsa.
Rosario, has been signed following his release from the Tucson Sugar Skulls on March 27.
The 6'1, 195 lbs. utility player spent time with the Bismarck Bucks for 11 games last season, compiling 330 yards on 33 receptions for 10.6 yards per catch. The former Buck recorded eight touchdowns one season ago and will look to make his 2023 season debut.
The Oilers will continue their inaugural season on the road, on April 8, against the Duke City Gladiators. Tulsa will play its first home game in franchise history at the BOK Center, on April 15 against the Quad City Steamwheelers.
