The Iowa Barnstormers (0-2) travel to face the Sioux Falls Storm (0-1) on Sunday, April 9. The match is scheduled for 5:05 p.m. at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Sioux Falls is coming off their season opener with a 36-34 loss to the Quad City Steamwheelers. Sioux Falls was seconds away from a comeback but fell short by two points.
Iowa is traveling to Sioux Falls following a 44-25 loss to the Green Bay Blizzard (1-1) last Friday night. Rookie quarterback Zach Reader entered the game after Darius-James Peterson suffered an injury and threw for 87 yards and two touchdowns in his first ever IFL game.
This is the first matchup between the Barnstormers and Storm this season. The Barnstormers are looking to capture their first win of the season to cap off their three road game stretch.
