Tulsa --- The Tulsa Oilers scored two shorthanded goals to extend the RiverKings winless streak 5 with a 2-1 victory Friday night in downtown Tulsa.
Jaroslav Cesky scored on a break at 15:44 in the first to make it 1-0 after one. Dorian Anneck tipped in a Don Parsons centering pass at 1:46 on the power play to tie it at one going into the third period. Jim Dahl's game winner came at 13:07 of the third as he snuck it under goalie Guy St. Vincent. It was just Tulsa's third win on home ice as they climbed to a game above .500. Memphis outshot the Oilers 38-22, but couldn't solve Oiler netminder Marco Emond who made a number of key saves to deny the RiverKings.
The RiverKings went 1 for 11 on the power play while Tulsa was 0 for 7. Guy St. Vincent, who was activated off the IR earlier in the day, took the loss and fell to 3-5-0 on the season.
Memphis heads down the road to Oklahoma City to face the Blazers tomorrow night in a 7:35 face-off.
In player news, the RiverKings traded goalie Miguel Beaudry before Friday night's game to the Austin Ice Bats for future considerations.
