It has been a week of change for the RiverKings as they enter the first of eight meetings with the Oilers tonight. New forwards Sheldon Wenzel and Rob Ouimette will be on the ice tonight. The team waived Drew Terry and Ken Goetz to make room for Wenzel and Ouimette. Goetz subsequently announced his retirement. The RiverKings are 1-5-1 in their last seven games after falling to Wichita 4-1 on Tuesday. The Oilers are 3-5-2 in their last ten games and are at .500 (9-9-2) through 20 games after making the playoffs last season. Tulsa is led by rookie forward Jim Dahl (10-10-20) and forward Jaroslav Cesky (8-12-20). Henry Kuster's 11 goals lead a team that averages 2.95 goals per game, identical to the RiverKings' average. Goalie Marco Edmond has played in 12 games and posted a 5-7-0 record, a 3.24 GAA and a .900 save percentage. Chris King has seen action in eight games and is 4-2-2 with a 2.80 GAA and a .915 save percentage.

The RiverKings are 48-43-6 all-time against the Oilers, 20-26-3 in Tulsa. Memphis went 2-2-0 last season versus Tulsa.
