Tucson Sidewinders to celebrate 3-D star-spangled spectacular

Tucson, AZ - The Tucson Sidewinders will return home from their current road trip on Sunday, July 4, 2004 to host the division rival Las Vegas 51's (Los Angeles Dodgers) in patriotic style with the 4th of July Star Spangled Spectacular. The final home stand before the Triple-A All-Star break will feature Tucson's only 3-D fireworks show immediately following the game. The first 10,000 fans in attendance will receive special "3-D" glasses for the 6:00 p.m. game. All seats are reserved for the July 4th game only. The home stand will also feature Margarita Monday on July 5th and Toros Tuesday on July 6th. The Sidewinders, owners of a 42-38 record, are currently on the road facing the Southern Division rival Sacramento RiverCats in a 3 game set.

"3-D" STAR-SPANGLED SPECTACULAR! - Come watch the best & only 3-D fireworks show in Tucson! The fireworks are choreographed to music and are sponsored by Pepsi, Sam Levitz Furniture, Sayco Heating & Air Conditioning and Casino Del Sol. All seats are reserved, so call now to purchase your tickets!

MARGARITA MONDAY CON MARIACHIS! - Enjoy 2-for-1 margaritas during the game, with entertainment provided by local Mariachi bands.

Tuesday, July 6, 7:00 p.m. vs. Las Vegas (Gates Open 6:00 p.m.)

WE CARE WEDNESDAY! - Wednesdays share in the Sidewinders' commitment to the community as we donate gate receipts to Pima County for distribution to various non-profit and community organizations in support of local charities.
