Tryouts for Pensacola Pelicans Fall Showcase Team This Weekend

Pensacola Pelicans News Release


Tryouts for the Pensacola Pelicans Fall Showcase High School Team will be August 6th and 7th @ Pelican Park on the campus of the University of West Florida from 2 pm-5 pm both Monday and Tuesday. The goal of the program is to expose qualified student athletes to the professional and collegiate scouting community in the hopes of them receiving a scholarship for their athletic abilities. Roster Size will be b/w 20 and 22 players. Cost per player will be $1000--Which covers Tournament Entry Fees, Equipment/Uniforms, Coach Fees, Team Insurance, Field Use Fees, Umpire Fees, and unlimited use of Pelicans Training Academy. There will be sponsorship opportunities and a payment plan to assist with enrollment.

Sept 28-30--Open

Oct 6-8-Barry Larkin's Scout Day Tournament @ Pace, Fl

Oct 12-14--World Wood Bat/Perfect Game SE Qualifier #2 (East Cobb)

Oct 19-21-World Baseball Federation Fall Nat'l Championships @ Dodgertown Vero Beach, FL

Oct 25-29--World Wood Bat/Perfect Game World Championship (If Qualify) Jupiter, FL

Nov 3-5--Charleston, SC (SC Diamond Devils)
